About the Flashback Damsel Trout Fly
Damsel nymphs are excellent in the summer and very popular on small still waters.
When the water is murky from a summer storm or algae the Flashback Damsel is the one to put on the end of your long de-greased leader.
Fishing Tips:
When the temperature is high and the trout are in a small still water, they will be in the deepest water they can find, or tucked quietly in the shade of an overgrown bank.

- Hook : 10-12.
- Thread : Olive.
- Tail : Olive pheasant tail fibres.
- Body : Olive seal fur.
- Thorax : Claret seal fur
- Wing case : Pearl.
- Rib : Fine gold wire.
- Hackle : Light brown or ginger hen hackle.
Long shank.
