Pattern Dressings

  • Hook : 12-14.
  • Thread : Red.
  • Tail : Pheasant tail strands.
  • Body : Natural rabbit's hair.
  • Rib : Pearl tinsel.
  • Hackle : Ginger cock.

Lie the tail at the bottom end of the shank, make sure all strands are equal length, then tie about 3 inches of pearl tinsel down to the butt. Cover the body with rabbit dubbing followed by four turns of the pearl tinsel. Finish off the fly with a ginger hackle under the body. Kumasan B175.
