Top Ten Flies for May 2018

In this month’s chart we see a complete mix up from last year’s patterns. Last year remained somewhat cool throughout May, yet this year we’ve had it all, nippy, hot, stormy and wet days.

We’re glad to see that another one of our new patterns in No. 1 spot, The Mayfly Para, which became available just at the back end of the Mayfly season last year so missed most of the action; we’re glad it’s managed to show it's popularity this year! It knocked our previous new pattern, The Mohican Mayfly down to 3^rd spot.

This year has not all been dominated by Mayflies, Nymphs and Damsels however, with Daddies, Terrestrials and Leeches all making strong appearances.
