About the Okay Dokay Black and Orange Trout Fly
The Okay Dokay Black and Orange is a sparse yet colourful buzzer pattern that is very effective at bringing fish to the net. With its slim, buzzer-true profile and bold orange hotspot, it gives trout a clear target to home in on when they’re feeding on chironomid pupae, especially useful when fish are following but not fully committing.
Fishing Tips:
Fish it on a floating line with a long leader, letting it drift and hang naturally, then inch it back with a slow figure-of-eight. The sparse build helps it sit and move like a natural pupa, while the black-and-orange contrast gives just enough “look at me” to turn interest into takes.
Country of origin for this trout fly: England
This trout fly is designed to be fished on Dams & Reservoirs, Still Water
