About the McMurray's Ant Trout Fly
McMurray's Ant is a fly that you can fish anytime, anywhere in the world, where there are ants and trouts.
It has a fluorescent hot-spot which makes a great hi-visibility pattern.
The USA Navy discovered after much research that orange is the the most visible colour on water.

This trout fly is designed to be fished on Dams & Reservoirs, Rivers & Streams, Still Water
- Hook : 14-22.
- Silk : Black.
- Body : Two pieces of balsa wood joined with mono filament. Painted black or red brown. The front portion getting dipped into fluorescent orange paint.
- Hackle : Black or red cock hackle.
The hackle is wound in the centre of the body.
