About the Royal Coachman Trout Fly
The Royal Coachman is a pattern that has earned its place as a 'standard' attractor pattern on both sides of the Atlantic. Working its regal magic on rivers and stillwaters, specially coloured.
Expert Tip:
Theodore Gordon received the British 'Coachman' from his friend Halford, he adapted it as a dry fly.
But we give credit to his fellow American John Haily who created the 'Royal' variant by adding the 'regal' red band.
