About the Olive Shrimp Trout Fly
Originating on Fernworthy Reservoir, near Chagford on Dartmoor for use in the very weedy corner at the far left end of the water where shrimps abound. I took a lot of fish on this pattern.

Dressings
- Hook : 12 - 14
- Thread : Olive
- Underbody : Three strips of lead wire reducing in size
- Shell back : Pale olive plastic raffia (Raffene)
- Segmenter : Double thread
- Body : Medium or light olive seal fur, rabbit or similar
