The Sulphar Comparadun has a distinctive deer wing that creates such an impressive silhouette.

It is best during the late summer afternoons to early evenings of late July and early August when Sulphur mayflies are plentiful.

  • Hook : 14-16.
  • Thread : Cream or pale yellow.
  • Tail : Pale blue dun hackle fibres.
  • Body : Pale yellow seal's fur or similar.
  • Wing : Bleached deer hair.

The tail fibres are split into a wide V shape.
