About the Tarpon Tamer Yellow and Red Saltwater Fly
It is very important when Tarpon fishing to get the fish to 'see' the fly.
Colour and movement are paramount in attracting the Tarpon; at which the Tamer series are supreme!

Dressings
- * # Hook: Tiemco 600SP Saltwater hook
- * # Stiff Monofilament loop at bend of hoo 35-45lb.
- * # Tail: 3.5" length of rabbit zonker (Magnum size) strip. Trim front to a point and tie in upside down with rabbit strip facing the eye of the hook.
- * # When the point is covered fold the rabbit strip back to form the tail and tie back. Then tie in 8-10 strands of crystal hair and 6 strands of holographic flashabou.
- * # Body: 2 large cock hackles wound around hook. Then tie in a spare collar of black squirrel hair - same length as hackles.
- * # Head: Tapered thread painted with an eye on each side. Then cover with epoxy.
