About the Olive Peacock Montana Trout Fly

A Montana variant from the eighties. Fish very often take Montana nymphs' when they are fished slowly along the bottom of a lake bed. In the cold of winter and the heat of the summer try those deep holes.

• Tail : Tip of olive marabou feather.
• Body : 3 strands of peacock herl.
• Thorax : Olive seal's fur.
• Wing case : Black feather fibres, shine side up.
• Hackle/legs : Olive cock.
