Damsel Marabou is one of the most popular trout lake and reservoir lures in the UK and Europe. The damselfly nymph comes into its own in summer months when main feeding occurs. Try the edges of weed beds for trout patrolling close in for this food.

A excellent search pattern of Scottish heritage, it is a great pulling pattern for Rainbow and Brown Trout in the larger stillwaters. The Nomad variant of the original " Dawson's Olive", and can be fished on all kinds of fly lines, being particularly effective on an intermediate line. It is used by most of the fly fishermen in the north of England and is a must in the fly box. It works fished in fairly fast short pulls, as it represents a fry and is taken confidently by both Rainbows and Browns on all stillwaters.

The Beadie Damsel is becoming one of the most popular small still water lures in the UK and Europe. The damselfly nymph comes into its own in summer months when main feeding occurs. Try the edges of weedbeds for trout patrolling close in for this food. In summer months when the mass migration of Damselfly nymphs occurs, use a floating line and long leader with a slow figure of eight retrieve or a series of short twitches. The rest of the year can produce using an intermediate or sinking line with a varied rate of retrieve.

The most popular flies in their most popular sizes are held in our local stock and can be delivered immediately.

Less popular types are held at a remote store and therefore take 5 – 10 days to deliver.

All flies are tied to a very high standard using the best materials.
