About the Mosquito Trout Fly
This was originally an Americian pattern but has proved it self to be such an enticing fly.
Today Trout on rivers and stillwaters on both sides of the Atlantic are attracted to this proven pattern.
Expert Tip:
Theodore Gordon (1854-1915) tied the first American dry flies around 1890. His first ones were tied from instuctions and materials sent by F M Halford, he soon began to imitate insects on his home waters.
