About the Cinnamon Sedge Trout Fly
There are many dressings for this fly, which works excellently as an all round dry fly, and has taken more trout for me than any other.
I greatly enjoy fishing the dry, but this seems to work in all aspects. Drifting loch style, small stillwater, moorland brownies, even sea trout at night time.
Expert Tip:
I developed this fly with the late Geoffrey Rivaz of Hungerford, who introduced me to fly dressing in 1974
