About the Beadie Orange Sedge Trout Fly
The Beadie Orange Sedge is a killer when a rise to sedges is on, the fly should be moved in slow pulls just below the surface for which purpose most of the leader needs to be thoroughly degreased.

Dressings
- Hook : Hayabusa, fly 270 - size 10
- Thread : Brown and to match individual colour
- Antenna : Two cock pheasant tail fibres
- Eyes : Black monofilament heated at each end
- Body : Glass beads as per individual colour
- Thorax cover : Mottled brown Thin Skin
- Thorax : Brown ostrich herl
- Legs Grey partridge hackle
Attach brown thread at eye of hook and secure antenna pointing forward over eye.
Secure eyes and using thread build up thorax area to prevent body beads encroaching: fasten and remove thread.
Locater body beads onto hook and retain with tying silk to match body at rear of body; fasten and remove thread.
Attach brown thread at thorax and secure thread cover pointing t o rear.
Secure ostrich herl and form thorax.
Secure partridge hackle and form legs with one turn.
Bring forward thorax cover and secure behind eyes; remove excess
Pull antenna rear ward and secure behing eyes; fasten and remove thread
