About the Grey Palmer Trout Fly
Palmers' are reputedly the oldest of British flies Over the centuries they have held there own special place in flyboxes, seeming to represent caterpillars or moths or an interesting morsel to a waiting trout.
Fished wet they are refered to as woolly worms or woolly bears imitating nymphs, shrimps or larvae.
