About the CDC Palmer Natural Trout Fly

These feathers are taken from the preen gland of a duck and are a highly effective material for creating flies. It makes the fly extremely buoyant, naturally water-repellent, and have a unique structure that allows them to trap air bubbles, making them highly effective at creating a realistic and lifelike fly on the water.
