Our classic Rusty Bomber Fly has proven to be an exciting skating dry fly. Skating the Bomber produces typically a much more aggressive reaction. It is a must fishing for Steelheads or when travelling to Russian.
Expert Tip:
When fishing for Steelhead/Pacific Salmon dead drift the fly is most popular :in Russia skating / riffling hitch method is the favourite. Which ever method employed ; your Bomber over the surface then seeing the bow wave which is followed often by savage by takes is breath taking, the word "awesome" is justified.. Vary the Bomber's colour according to the light conditions and personal preference.
