This salmon atlantic fly is designed to be fished on Rivers & Streams
Dressings
- Tube : Plastic or copper
- Tail : Light blue no.14 Glo brite multi yarn, or similar yarn
- Butt : Light blue no.14 Glo brite multi yarn, or similar yarn
- Body : Flat silver holographic tinsel
- Rib : Oval silver tinsel
- Hackle : Light blue, palmered down body
- Collar : Grey cock hackle
- Wing : Cream arctic fox tail, light blue mirror flash fibres over, Purple arctic fox tail over that, black arctic fox over that with pearl lite brite strands and natural grey fox fur over top of wing
- Head : Black tying silk or 5/32 Black cone head for slightly mor weight
Although this pattern is dressed on a plastic tube it can also be copper or brass tubes too suit local conditions.
