The secret is that the wild boar bristles being added into the tail to give a "kick” to the fly! So the real key when fishing the pattern is using the Boar bristle antenna and splay them out so they pulse in the water and don't matt down. Pot Belly Pig’s stiff bristled tail creates a commotion. This style of fly has, at times, been referred to as the boar bristle shrimp and the hog bristle shrimp.

• * Body : Gold lite brite ribbed oval gold tinsel and yellow & orange hackled palmered up body
• * Collar : Orange hackle then black hackle in front
• * Cheeks : Jungle cock tied 'Shrimp' style
