A classic shrimp pattern for the River Usk. Looks to me as if this pattern could work very well on a single for steelhead!!

This is a Welsh salmon pattern from the bench of Paul Slaney named after a famous Welsh salmon river the Usk. This modern version has been around since the mid 1930s and the full dressed version probably since the late 19th century.
