Epoxy Buzzer 3D Bloodworm

Epoxy buzzer 3D bloodworm pattern is very effective and are often bested fished drifting on the wind currents from a floating or sink-tip line. A buzzer pattern containing a large amount of Red colour, designed to imitate the mature Bloodworm, or early stage of a Chironomids pupa part of the staple food source for trout.

This fly has worked wonders on stillwaters, specially when fished very slowly on a floating line and as long a leader as you are comfortable (18ft) Because of its weight the fly cuts rapidly through the surface film and gets to fishing depth quickly. Be aware of takes on the drop. A very slow figure-of-eight retrieve is normally best; occasionally if there is a lot of buzzer activity fairly fast stripping can work well.

This eye catching buzzer is very versatile and can be fished under an indicator or bung, it can be left to drift around on the breeze or can be figure of eight or strip retrieved at various depths. It is good in the cooler weather as it can be fished deep if the Trout are lower down. The glint of gold adds to stimulate takes
