Damsel Marabou is one of the most popular trout lake and reservoir lures in the UK and Europe. The damselfly nymph comes into its own in summer months when main feeding occurs. Try the edges of weed beds for trout patrolling close in for this food.

The Cats Whisker has found a permanent place in most reservoir and stillwater flyboxes. A great all round fly for those hard days.

An outstandingly successful and radiant pattern with a movement that is so tantilizing to predatory trout. This fly has worked its magic all over the world. It has caught various species trout,not only in its original intended environment-UK Small stillwaters; but also in rivers and lakes in the USA, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and South America. Always keep a couple handy in your flybox, they work - they catch fish!

 

Humungous Silver

Whenever I explore new waters a Humungous Silver is a favorite choice. It is an excellent search pattern of Scottish heritage, a great pulling pattern for Rainbow and Brown Trout in the larger stillwaters. This dressing is very versatile and comes with a palmered hackle down the body for added sparkle and movement.

Less popular types are held at a remote store and therefore take 5 – 10 days to deliver.
