About the Red and Black Flashpoint Trout Fly
The R & B Flashpoint fly has been working wonders on stillwaters, specially when fished very slowly on a floating line and long leader.
Because of its weight the fly cuts rapidly through the surface film and gets to fishing depth quickly. Be aware of takes on the drop.
A slow figure-of-eight retrieve is good and if there is a lot of buzzer activity fairly fast stripping can work well.
Can be fished with a sight indicator or large CDC; which helps when exploring different depths.
