About the Flashbright Diawl Bach Variant Trout Fly
This fly just shouts to me ‘I will catch fish’, and it does for me and a number of friends, also it is so quick and easy to tie. This idea came to me when I was tying some buzzers and Diawl Bachs for a friend. The sparser and slimmer the dressing is the better it works. Also the close turns of rib help to suggest a bloodworm
Expert Tip:
I fish it on lakes and reservoirs early on in the season, using it as either a point of bottom dropper fly. All I do is just cast out, move it enough to keep in contact with it giving the occasional 6” twitch, be prepared for some thumping takes.
