About the Rob's Original GH Daddy Trout Fly
See Fly 1825 to see this ones roots. It was originally tied because one of my clients wanted a leaded daddy that sank quicker. This fly has caught loads of fish for everyone except me(including several double figure trout from the english big fish waters) I still havn't caught a thing on it

This trout fly is designed to be fished on Dams & Reservoirs, Still Water fish
Dressings
- Hook : 2x longshank size 10 or 12
- Gold Bead : 4mm on size10. 3mm on size 12 (other colour beads can be used)
- Tail : GloBrite yarn or Antron (Flourescent)Orange or Green are the best 2 colours.(Marabou might work????)
Try locking the bead in place with lead wire
