About the White Muddler Trout Fly
The White Muddler is a remarkably versatile pattern. When fished on the surface it will imitate a variation of terrestrial bugs, also such delights as grasshoppers to wounded minnows. Underwater it many well appearance to the Trout as a large nymph, fry or small baitfish. What ever it is seen as, it has accounted for many ;and it is a worthy of inclusion to any Flybox.
Expert Tip:
In UK stillwater competitions the Mini Muddle, was
usually fished on the top dropper to create a small wake that would pull fish in to it and the other trailing flies.
