About the Cormorant Booby Trout Fly
The Cormorant Booby is fishing a dark buoyant fly on sinking line and very short leader.
Your Booby fly can be presented hovering temptingly just above the bottom, where the fish are often lying especially during early season.
Twitching the fly is very tempting; a slow jerking retrieve will create a sink and bobbing motion that is very provoking to even the wariest of fish
Ideal for bank fishing on stillwaters or reservoirs.
Expert Tip:
If the fish are just below the surface - tie on your booby and flash it quickly over the surface creating a wild turbulent wake - watch out for the slashing violent takes, it is an exciting method on the right day!
Country of origin for this trout fly: England
