The "Blob" colourful series of dry flies are possibly the simplest Trout flies ever created;and despite their simplicity, they are remarkably successful. A stillwater technique — fast-stripping brightly colored "blob" flies — is hammering stillwater trout in competitions in Britain. Generally, the bright colours and sparkle attract the fish towards your team of flies. they are most effective when boat fishing: never under estimate vibrant Blob's, they proved quite excellent sport from the bank.

Expert Tip:

FAB (Foam Arsed Blobs) they have foam at the rear and fish like a booby, but with out the hassle of twisting.
