About the Apache Black Trout Fly
This Apache series is probably the most exciting search pattern to hit stillwaters - lakes, ponds and reservoirs.
The pulsing movement of the mink body plus the stimulating flowing and eye catching movement of the marabou & flashabou tail is a serious killer.
Two to three short jerks followed by a steady retrieve - repeat.
By ready for savage takes!!!
Expert Tip:
We have upgraded from rabbit to a first class 'Mink' body > That gives such tantalizing, pulsating dynamics in the water
We do believe using Mink is well worth the small extra expense to achieve a superb killing pattern.

Comments from other fly fishermen
The Black Apache works like a dream in most situations. A fly to fall back on when things get difficult and will often pick up a savage take on the drop. My favourite lure type. - 4 out of 5 Stars by Mike Warburton on 30/05/2010
