About the Mayfly Dun Trout Fly
This is my standard Mayfly Dun and has proved successful on those rare occasions I get to see a Mayfly hatch these days. Just cast it on a short 9’ leader to an individual rising fish or, drift through the hatch. It has the advantage of sitting very low in the water but the combination of materials in the dressing gives excellent flotation qualities.
