About the Half Stone (Varient) Trout Fly
F M Halford created this varient of the 'Half Stone', as a successful dry pattern.
The original pattern was intended to be a Wet fly fished in the tumbling streams of Derbyshires usually at the beginning of the season.
Expert Tip:
Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. I am haunted by waters.
