It a Hot pattern when the Trout are 'bulging', taking nymphs / buzzer just below the surface.
Expert Tip:
When you suspect Trout are feeding on emerging midges or midge pupae this pattern can give you an exciting time.
Midges are most important as a trout food in slow moving streams, lakes and ponds because trout can feed more efficiently on small food forms in these conditions.
