About the Ducks Dun Trout Fly
One of Charles Jardine's favourite creations
Absolutely superb when dun are on the water !!!
Definitely one that is a standard in a dry fly fisherman's flybox.

This trout fly is designed to be fished on Rivers & Streams, Still Water fish
Dressings
- * Hook : 14 - 20
- * Thread : Primrose
- * Tail : Three to five grizzle hackle fibres
- * Body : Light yellow - olive soft antron or similar
- * Wing : Two cul de canard
- * Hackle : Dark blue dun cock
The fly, as pictured, was tied by Charles for me.
Note how the CDC wings are tied back to back in an upright position and the hackle is palmered through the thorax and clipped in a V underneath
